Above everything else, what we offer our members is the chance to be part of a community.

This part of the clubhouse was built to a newer code than the original part. Believe it or not, we didn't even lose the windows.

We learned the difference between an interior decorator and an interior designer. A decorator can help you pick carpets and window treatments. A designer will do your entire floor plan and traffic flow.

We had excellent insurance, which at least was able to pay for rebuilding the club back to the way it was. But we also wanted to use the opportunity to make some improvements. So we had a limited bond issue among our members, and also took out a small mortgage. Even after all this, our equity-to-debt ratio is about 5-1, which is excellent for any organization.
